Course Objectives: | The main purpose of the course is to strengthen the relationship between thinking and visualization in the design process through architectural representation tools. Visual communication tools will be evaluated in the way of creating new ideas rather than producing presentation material. |
Course Content: | The course focuses on developing the "narrator" character of the architect. Students will design a visual process and during this time they will experience various visual media ranging from hand drawing to digital tools. The interaction between these different tools is also one of the main focuses of the course. During the course, students will be encouraged to use the representation tools according to their personal interests and skills. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To design and visualize a narrative process with different layers. 2) To use architectural representation tools creatively and innovatively. 3) To develop a personal visual expression in architecture. |
