Course Objectives: | To course aims to introduce different methods and media with which students can use for professional communication. Within the scope of the course, there will be film screenings and/or guest speakers to observe how the students can make presentations through traditional and new media. In addition, students are expected to develop a visual expression vocabulary via presenting their work by the end of the semester. |
Course Content: | The course aims to introduce the concepts and tools necessary for students to represent their own designer persona through printed and online portfolio. The course is organized in two parts. In the first part of the course, students are expected to discover and apply unique methods and techniques that will help to express their design ideas through presentations and weekly assignments. Following this, in the second part of the course, they are expected to produce their own printed and digital portfolios in the light of the course information. |

1) Ability to communicate visually with various representation tools and presentation techniques 2) Ability to organize and present their own projects in print or online environments and design their professional communication in visual and written ways 3) Ability to create and present own portfolio with a original design for the relevant media |
