Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: In this course, it is aimed to gain the knowledge and skills of analyzing and synthesizing evidence-based nursing practices in order to address women's health with a holistic view, to identify problem areas and to produce solutions for problems.
Course Content: Within the scope of this course, nursing approaches in risky situations in the birth and postpartum period affecting women's health, genital infections, family planning methods, infertility, pelvic structure disorders, and gynecological cancers include information on current nursing approaches.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to discuss current nursing nursing approaches in risky situations in the birth and postpartum period.
2) To be able to explain evidence-based nursing practices in newborn evaluation and emergency care.
3) To be able to critically evaluate and apply family planning methods and nursing practices under consultancy
4) To be able to discuss the problems experienced by infertile couples and current nursing approaches
5) To be able to plan nursing care for the protection and promotion of the health of women in the menopause period.
6) To be able to interpret the evidence studies on the solution of violence against women and women's health problems and nursing approaches.
7) To be able to examine women's health problems by using scientific research methods.
