Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to examine the concept of identity and migration in social sciences and to investigate the relationship of the related problem with politics.
Course Content: In this course, the concepts of identity and migration in politics, the establishment of identity as a political category, and approaches and discussions on identity politics are discussed. In addition, it examines the effects of issues such as religion and climate change, the theories of migration, the causes of international migration, the types of international migration and immigrants, the history of international migrations, the effects of international migrations on the sending and receiving regions of the world, and the impact of globalization on international migration by connecting them with migration issues.
