Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to enable students to gain theoretical and applied knowledge and skills on how to examine a topic related to important and current issues in the field of health management with advanced research methods in light of ethical codes.
Course Content: This course covers statistical association, confounding factors and causality in scientific research in the field of health management, multivariate analyses suitable for research designs for the purpose of exploring and explaining a topic, and discussion and asessment of research articles published using these analyses.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) • Develop an appropriate analysis model for association or causality,
2) • Perform selected multivariate analysis that are widely used in health management, for the model developed,
3) • Interpret analysis findings,
4) • Orally share and discuss the critique of a quantitative research paper made using selected multivariate analysis technique(s) in the field of health management.
