Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Within the scope of this course, clinical practices will be covered together with ethical discussions and legal regulations. In addition, the characteristic features, effective intracellular pathways and differentiation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Hematopoietic Stem Cells and further differentiated unipotent stem cells in adult individuals will be learned.
Course Content: In this course, the characteristic features, effective intracellular pathways and differentiation of Mesenchymal Stem Cells, Hematopoietic Stem Cells and further differentiated unipotent stem cells in adults will be explained. In addition, isolation, characterization, culture and differentiation processes of these cells will be explained.

1) Students will have acquired information about stem cells and stem cell types.
2) Students will have learned the differentiation of cells and their molecular pathways.
3) Students will have learned the use of stem cells in the clinic.
4) Students will have learned the isolation and characterization techniques of Cells.
