Course Objectives: | To learn the effect of nutrition in the formation and treatment of digestive system diseases. To learn the effects of digestive system diseases on nutritional status. To develop personalized medical nutrition therapy programs for individuals with digestive system disease. |
Course Content: | Incidence, etiology, symptoms and medical nutrition therapy of digestive system diseases. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explains the relationship between physiological and morphological functions of digestive system organs and nutrients. 2) Learns digestive system diseases and their relationship with nutrition. 3) Examines the pathological changes in the types of diseases of the digestive organs and gains the ability to apply medical nutrition therapy according to these changes. 4) Evaluates the nutritional problems of individuals with digestive system disease and develops solutions. 5) Examines research publications on the subject and gains the ability to evaluate the situation |
