Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To gain detailed information about the use of technology in Athlete Rehabilitation, to teach the necessary methods for the design and supply of simple or high-tech devices in line with the needs.
Course Content: Neuroplasticity, virtual reality, video-based games, inertial sensors, robotic rehabilitation, wearable technologies, assistive technologies that facilitate daily life, telerehabilitation, mobile applications, technologically assisted pulmonary rehabilitation, current technological approaches in rehabilitation

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Gains knowledge about athlete rehabilitation and the use of technology in sports.
2) Follows the current literature on athlete rehabilitation.
3) Applies the information obtained from the current literature on athlete rehabilitation.
4) Follows and analyzes the results of current and technological applications on the applied group.
5) The effect of developments in social, economic and technological fields on sports; the direction of development of sport (future); can approach these developments in sports from a critical perspective.
