Course Objectives: | Developing the ability to make decisions about orthoses used before and after surgery in different pathological conditions according to indication |
Course Content: | Course is about functional, resting, immobilizing, corrective orthoses used for different indications and rehabilitation. Developments in today's orthotic technology make function evaluations according to the needs of the person in a discussion environment with case studies. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Explains orthotic indications 2) Develops the ability to make decisions according to indications 3) Makes case reports on the subject 4) Practices clinical problem solving 5) Knows orthoses that can be selected in the rehabilitation process for any region after injury. |
