Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Developing knowledge and skills on evidence-based evaluation and treatment methods within the scope of sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation
Course Content: Physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches of sports injuries include case discussions and selection of evidence-based methods and development of necessary knowledge and skills for decision making.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Gives enough information about health
2) Develops practical skills within the scope of sports physiotherapy
3) Identifies and analyzes problems using basic information
4) Gains the ability to suggest solutions based on evidence in sports physiotherapy and rehabilitation
5) Gains knowledge about the importance of rehabilitation program in sports injuries and the criteria for athlete's return to sports. In the light of this information, the physiotherapist raises awareness of athletes, trainers and sports clubs.
