Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: With this course, it is aimed to teach the effects of acute and chronic effects of exercise on cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal systems and cardiovascular exercise studies, physical fitness, and the effects of exercise on athletes.
Course Content: It includes cardiovascular system and exercise, cardiovascular regulation, evaluation of functional capacity, measurement of energy capacity, aerobic and anaerobic training, pulmonary system, respiratory control, musculoskeletal system and exercise, thermoregulation and exercise, underwater and high altitude physiology.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) The concept of exercise physiology explains exercise and physical activity, the benefits of regular exercise, and different exercise modalities
2) Explain the acute and chronic response to exercise on the cardiovascular system.
3) Explain the acute and chronic response to exercise on the respiratory system.
4) Explain the acute and chronic response to exercise on the musculoskeletal system.
5) Explains the imaging of cardiorespiratory system with exercise stress test
