Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To comprehend the definition of physical activity in sports physiotherapists as a preventive against systemic diseases and in the creation of healthy societies.
Course Content: Health - physical activity
Personal physical exercise prescription
Physical activity prescription in special cases

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Defines the importance of physical activity for health.
2) Learns to give correct exercise prescription for physical activity and health protection, which are important for public health.
3) Plans research on the principles and practices used for health and physical activity, interprets the results of thir studies by choosing appropriate statistical methods, writes their report and presents it at scientific meetings.
4) Understands the importance of health and physical activity for children, women, men, athletes and the elderly.
5) Understanding the importance of exercise physiology and biomechanics in designing effective exercise programs for specific groups is essential.
