Course Objectives: | Defines physical fitness, understands the tests, analyzes and applies which tests to apply in their own field, gains the skill of creating and modifying the exercise prescription by interpreting the results. |
Course Content: | Definition of appropriate physical fitness for safe and effective exercise program in physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs, knowledge of physiology, application methods of physical fitness tests and preparing an exercise program as a result of the data obtained. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Defines the importance of physical fitness, understands the importance of physical fitness tests in the creation of exercise prescription. 2) Researches physical fitness tests in athletes, uses, analyzes and interprets the information obtained in their own field. 3) As a team member, she/heworks multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary, communicates effectively and reflects her individual skills and responsibilities to group work. 4) It raises awareness of athletes, coaches, clubs and society about the importance of physical fitness. 5) He/she applies physical fitness tests in the field, court and/or hall, plans research, interprets the results of his/her studies by choosing appropriate statistical methods, writes the report and presents it in national and/or international scientific meetings. |
