Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To define and evaluate urogynecological problems and to deal with physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches and to follow the literature studies and innovations on the subject.
Course Content: Selection of physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches for urological problems and application principles of these approaches. Gynecological problems and physiotherapy; endometriosis; premenstrual syndrome and physiotherapy; polycystic ovary syndrome and physiotherapy; dysmenorrhea and physiotherapy; menopause and physiotherapy; Gynecological surgeries and physiotherapy; Pain and physiotherapy of gynecological origin

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) By defining urogynecological problems, they can follow the innovations about physiotherapy approaches for these problems and decide on the appropriate physiotherapy approach.
2) Can use problem solving and clinical decision making skills in rehabilitation for urogynecological problems.
3) Plans research on urogynecological physiotherapy and rehabilitation, interprets the results of this research, writes the report and presents it in scientific meetings.
