Course Objectives: | Developing the ability to know and discuss in detail the evaluation methods and various physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches applied specifically to the problem in all orthopedic problems of the foot and ankle, to create the most appropriate physical therapy rehabilitation plan and to implement the treatment plan, to evaluate and discuss by following the relevant current literature. to be able to comment on |
Course Content: | In addition to the theoretical and practical information about the evaluation methods used for different problems in orthopedic rehabilitation of foot and ankle injuries and their physiotherapy and rehabilitation, literature review studies on the subjects and new views in evaluation and rehabilitation will be examined. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Analyzing pathology, clinical findings, prognosis and basic treatment principles of foot and ankle orthopedic problems and knowing special evaluation methods 2) Gains the ability to plan the most appropriate physiotherapy and rehabilitation program, to identify and prevent possible complications, and to make necessary changes or modifications in the program for some complications. 3) Gains the ability to plan, implement and solve problems in a multidisciplinary team. |
