Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To define and evaluate pelvic floor and dysfunctions, to address physiotherapy and rehabilitation approaches and to follow literature studies and innovations on the subject
Course Content: Pelvic floor structure and function; evaluation; urinary incontinence and physiotherapy; pelvic organ prolapse and physiotherapy; fecal incontinence and physiotherapy; sexual dysfunction and physiotherapy; urogynecological surgery and physiotherapy

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) By defining pelvic floor dysfunctions, they can follow the innovations about physiotherapy approaches for these problems and decide on the appropriate physiotherapy approach.
2) Can use problem solving and clinical decision making skills in rehabilitation for pelvic floor dysfunctions.
3) Plans research on physiotherapy and rehabilitation in pelvic floor dysfunctions, interprets the results of this research, writes the report and presents it in scientific meetings
