Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To raise awareness about swallowing disorders and their rehabilitation. To recognize and evaluate oral motor dysfunctions and to inform about appropriate rehabilitation approaches.
Course Content: Swallowing function, evaluation of swallowing disorders, treatment methods for swallowing disorders

1) Learning the systematics of swallowing function
2) Learning about swallowing dysfunction and its cause
3) Learns how to direct individuals with swallowing disorders to treatment and therapy.
