Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Qualitative research methods course aims to introduce participants to qualitative research techniques, which is a research method that is increasingly being published among scientific studies. Qualitative research methods, qualitative research design, data collection and data analysis techniques in qualitative research will be examined practically within the scope of the course.
Course Content: Qualitative research methods, data collection techniques; detailed observation, interview, videotape data, research designs, analysis in qualitative research; computer aided qualitative data analysis, determination of qualitative research evaluation criteria

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Will be able to explain the basic features of qualitative and quantitative research methods.
2) will be able to compare the main features of the main patterns in the qualitative research method.
3) Will be able to explain the basic data collection techniques in qualitative research method according to the basic features of the designs.
4) Will be able to collect qualitative data suitable for a determined subject.
5) Will be able to explain the data analysis technique suitable for the characteristics of the data obtained in qualitative research.
