Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge of the fundemantal concepts of microeconomics at the introductory level.
Course Content: Fundamental concepts of microeconomics, consumer behavior, firm behavior, perfect competitive market, monopolistic market, profit maximization.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Have an introductory level knowledge of microeconomic theory.
2) Learn the behaviors of producers and consumers at markets.
3) Have a basic understanding of production and consumption.
4) Comprehend the reasons for failures and successes of firms at markets.
5) Learn the effects of governments on markets and economic actors.
