Course Objectives: | This course aims to: ● Define communication ethics in relation to law; ● Examine ethical theories and help students to understand different ethical approaches ● Examine ethical problems in traditional, online, and television journalism, photography, advertising, and social media. |
Course Content: | This course covers ethical problems related to communication and the media. It will help students to gain ethical awareness by concentrating on ethical principles and problems in different fields of communication and the media. The course includes topics as defining ethics; freedom of expression and the press; ethical theories and principles; journalism ethics; self-control systems in journalism; photography and ethics; ethics in television journalism; social media and ethics; advertising ethics |
