Course Objectives: | When constructing new stories, it expects to explore unreal coincidences without any scientific concerns by using a language that allows for transitions of meaning and colliding different narratives. These individual stories are layered with participants' experiences, observations, discussions, and drawings. It moves away from the conventional scale of architectural drawing but introduces traditional methods of the discipline. It seeks a new and fresh perspective through this encounter. Individual in-class exercises, group interim submissions, and critiques contribute to the course outcomes of the group's final submission. |
Course Content: | This course begins by shifting the focus of the subjects we will explore in both written and drawn narratives, moving away from the grand narratives and towards a more pluralistic framework by shifting the subjects of architectural representation beyond the confines of architecture and the human. It calls for attention to be paid to more-than-human entities while simultaneously inviting drawing and other individual production methods. Guided by Anna Tsing's project "Feral Atlas" and her charts and readings, the course invites exploration of the possibilities of drawing, re-imagining current stories and engaging in word/drawing/multi-media mediation. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
