Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to examine the psychology theories related to crimes to be committed in cyberspace. Students who successfully complete the course will have knowledge of how cyber crimes differ from physical crimes and about preventive approaches.
Course Content: In the field of cybercrime, the factors that affect both perpetrators and victims will be emphasized. In this respect, criminology and victimology theories will be re-examined through cyberspace. The cyber alter theory and space transition theories, which are specific to the cyber field, will be emphasized.
