Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Introducing the publication design,
Teaching page layout,
To comprehend the importance of typography in publication design,
To have applications for text-visual relationship in the design of the publication,
Course Content: The course covers introduction to publication design, sample design studies, grid and page layout, publication design based project development, typography, design of image-text relationship.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knows the basic concepts of the publication design process,
2) Knows printed, periodicals and electronic publications and their features,
3) Knows the basic principles of typography in publication design.
4) Produces appropriate solutions in publication design.
