Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The goal of this course for each student is:
- Understanding your creative potential; how to unlock it, express it, and foster it.
- Compiling experience using creative thinking tools to solve business problems and create a new product innovation.
- Understanding the roles of cross-functional teams in innovation.
- Learning models of product innovation.
- Exploring basics in design thinking.
- Linking strategic approach to innovation to operational level innovative outcomes.
- Gaining insights about the importance of disruptive innovation.
- Experimenting with macro-level factors that encourage/discourage you to form high-tech start-ups.
Course Content: Bu ders inovasyon ve teknoloji yönetimine odaklanmaktadır. Teknoloji, yaratıcılık, organizasyonel/ekip süreçleri ve yenilikçi çıktılar arasındaki etkileşimi inceleyeceğiz. Kurs boyunca, bireysel, ekip ve organizasyonel yaratıcılığı geliştirmeye yönelik araçları ve teknikleri keşfedeceğiz. Ayrıca, yeni ürünler (yani mallar ve hizmetler) için fikir geliştirme ve değerlendirme yöntemlerine, bu fikirleri yürütmek için iş modellerine, yeniliği teşvik eden (veya engelleyen) yönetim uygulamalarına ve yenilikçi çıktılara öncülük etmeye yönelik ilkelere/uygulamalara odaklanacağız. Ayrıca, yenilikçi faaliyetleri teşvik eden/caydıran makro düzeydeki faktörleri ziyaret edeceğiz ve yüksek teknoloji start-up'ları oluşturmanın temellerini anlayacağız. Çeşitli okumalar, vaka örnekleri, tartışmalar, deneysel alıştırmalar ve zorlu bir ekip projesi kullanarak öğrenciler, yaratıcılık ve yenilik yönetimi ilkelerini keşfeder ve uygular.
