Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed that students learn basic motor terms, motor working principle and systems.
Course Content: Engine terms, Cycles in Two and Four Stroke Engines, Otto Cycles, Diesel Cycles, Mixed Cycle, Power and Efficiency Measurements in Engines, Measurement and Control in Engines, Fuels and Combustion, Valves, Synthetic and Cylinder Head, Valve Mechanisms, Piston Rod Mechanism, Piston Rings, Crank and Camshafts, Timers, Variable Valve Timing, Engine Blocks, Lubrication System.

The students who have succeeded in this course;

4) Learns how basic motor technology will affect professional development.
