Course Objectives: | This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of statistical thinking in social sciences, as well as to improve the students’ necessary skills required for their academic studies. |
Course Content: | Introduction to basic statistics, descriptive statistics, probability, sampling, estimation and hypothesis testing |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Design an “end-to-end” research project about related topic. 2) Collect and use appropriate data for their researches. 3) Define research questions and hypotheses. 4) Use appropriate statistical methods to test their hypotheses. 5) Interpret and evaluate analysis results. |
