Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives:	The aim of this course is to develop the knowledge, attitudes and skills of newly graduated nursing and allied healthcare students to create a culture of patient safety and quality, and to make effective leadership, communication and teamwork in order to ensure continuous improvement in nursing-related indicators within the scope of quality standards in health and patient safety.
Course Content:	Quality management course in health; it includes the basic concepts of quality management in healthcare services, total quality management, measuring quality in healthcare services, patient safety in healthcare and nursing services, continuous improvement, quality assurance systems and improving quality indicators related to nursing and healthcare within the scope of quality standards.
