Course Objectives: | To gain knowledge of the functioning mechanisms of human cell, tissue and organ systems, the functions of organ systems, the interaction of systems with each other and the regulation of their functions. |
Course Content: | This course includes basic concepts in physiology, homeostasis, exchange of substances across the cell membrane; excitable tissues; nervous system; senses; the circulatory system; blood and immune system; the respiratory system; excretory system; digestive system; endocrine system; Includes reproductive system issues. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) I. Can explain homeostasis mechanisms, know the passage of substances through the cell membrane, II. Knows excitable tissues, action potential and excitation-contraction coupling mechanisms, III. Knows the classifications of the nervous system, functions of the nervous system and explains the reflex arc, IV. Knows the connection of the senses with the central nervous system, V. Knows the functions and elements of the circulatory system, VI. Knows blood and immune system components and functions, VII. Knows the functions of the respiratory system and the connection between the gas exchange in the alveoli and the central nervous system, VIII. Knows all the elements of the excretory system, their functions and their interconnections, IX. Knows the functions of the digestive system, the absorption of nutrients, X. Knows the functioning of the endocrine system, hormones and their effects on tissues, XI. Knows the functioning of the reproductive system, birth and lactation |

1) Has the ability to take the responsibility of theoretical knowledge about the field of operating room services and to take solutions and take solutions in unpredictable situations. | ||||||||||||||||
1) The aim of the Operating Room Services Program is to train assistant surgical healthcare personnel who ensure that all instruments and materials used in the operating room are ready for surgery, provide materials to the surgical team, and make the operating room environment suitable for the nature of the surgery. Graduates have high employment opportunities because both private and public hospitals require specially trained healthcare personnel in this field. | ||||||||||||||||
2) He / she is dominating the legislation which contains the duties and responsibilities related to his / her field. | ||||||||||||||||
3) Have knowledge of medical terms related to the field of operating room services. | ||||||||||||||||
