Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course for each student;
It is aimed to acquire anatomical knowledge and skills related to the structure, morphology and systems of the human body.
Course Content: Medical terminology, basic anatomical concepts, locomotor system anatomy, cardiovascular system anatomy, respiratory system anatomy, digestive system anatomy, urogenital system anatomy, nervous system anatomy

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) I. Introduction to anatomy and basic concepts, learning the properties of cells and tissues II. Learning the structure and classification of bones, structure and classification of joints III. Properties and classification of muscular system, learning auxiliary elements of muscles IV. Learning the anatomical structure of the heart and vessels, the working mechanism of the heart V. Learning the upper respiratory tract organs and lower respiratory tract organs, learning the function and mechanism of respiration VI. Learning the organs of the digestive system, learning the attachment organs and their functions VII. Learning the urinary system organs, learning kidney functions VIII. To learn male internal and external genital organs, to learn female internal and external genital organs IX. Learning the organs that make up the central nervous system X. Learning the organs that make up the peripheral nervous system

1) Has basic knowledge about radiotherapy, basic oncology, radiological imaging
2) Has the ability to use tools, devices and techniques related to the field in public and private health institutions.
3) Takes responsibility as a team member in solving unforeseen and complex problems encountered in applications related to the field.
4) Knows the effects of radiation on biological systems and takes necessary measures for protection against radiation for patients and employees.
5) Use medical imaging systems related to the field and evaluate the images taken.
6) Professionals, patients, patient relatives and other health care professionals communicate effectively when practicing their profession.
7) Keeps track of the data related to the studies done in the field and analyzes the data with the latest methods
8) It follows information in the field by using a foreign language at least at the level of European Language Portfolio A2 General Level.
9) Uses information and communication technologies together with computer software at the basic level of at least European Computer Driving License required by the field.
10) Carries out routine controls of the devices and equipment used in the practice of his / her job and follow-up of the work where necessary (fault, maintenance).
11) The student can transfer the current and updated information about the profession by means of written and verbal communication.
12) Has the basic knowledge, ethical principles and acts in accordance with the laws, regulations and legislation related to his / her profession.
13) Has experience in working with other fields that may be related to the field.
14) Has awareness of lifelong learning.
15) Contributes to projects and activities for the social environment he lives in with the awareness of social responsibility and sets an example for the society with his external appearance.
