Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this program is to give basic information about information systems, to give basic level usage skills of operating system and office application programs (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint) in order to become an active computer user.
Course Content: Researching methods and techniques of accessing information and gaining the ability to use it is within the scope of the "Information and Communication Systems Literacy" course. Basic concepts of information technologies such as Information, Informatics, Computer, Technological Development, professional concepts and applications, programming languages and current software (Word, Excel, Power Point) applications.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Knows the basic concepts of Information and Communication Systems Literacy
2) Knows the basic structures and operation of the computer.
3) Recognizes the basic hardware that makes up the computer. about these can monitor developments.
4) It can run on current versions of Windows operating system.
5) Can use current versions of office software at a good level.
6) They can prepare documents, make graphical representations and visual presentations, and analyze data.
7) Can use internet tools and techniques to access information

2) Definition of communication, ways of communication from past to present and e-mail writing in the age of technology. -
3) Introduction to the Word program. Recognizing the Word interface, preparing a new document, spelling rules and its importance. -
4) What is a paragraph in Word Program, how is it created? (Using page numbers, style, navigating within the document) -

2) Have knowledge about research methods of drugs and necessary resources related to the profession.
3) Has knowledge about regulations and legislation related to pharmacy and drugs.
4) Uses information and communication technologies together with computer software at the basic level of at least European Computer Driving License required by the field.
5) Has enough awareness about individual and public health, environmental protection and occupational safety.
6) Has the ability to use computer programs in the field of pharmacy.

14) As a Pharmacy Technician, it follows the instructions related to pharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, medical products, medical products and dermocosmetics.
