Course Objectives: | The aim of this course is to provide a general view of higher cognitive functions such as thinking, learning, memory and understanding the relationship between human behaviors and executive functions. |
Course Content: | This course includes the definitions and mechanisms of executive functions such as attention, memory, learning, language and thinking. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Has a general view about the brain and brain functions. 2) Gains a general understanding about neuroscience. 3) Recognizes and defines executive functions such as attention, memory and learning. 4) Defines the term 'intelligence'. 5) Has a knowledge about the relationship between giftedness and the environment. 6) Has a general view of current developments about neuroscience. |
