Course Objective and Content
| Course Objectives: | Will be able to comprehend the importance of the concepts of Art and Art History, will be able to understand the correct interpretation of the historical development of Turkish art and how important our cultural heritage is in interpreting our history correctly, and will be able to comprehend that protecting this heritage has a universal value. |
| Course Content: | What is art, what is the purpose of art, what are the factors that affect and create art? Why is Art History important and necessary? The development of civilization history and culture, the formation and development processes of Turkish art, art-architecture and culture in Turkish-Islamic states, the development of Renaissance period painting art, Contemporary art movements and their effects on art, the development process of Turkish ornaments and handicrafts and our cultural assets. |

1) Evaluate the general styles of works of art 2) Can explain the characteristics of art periods 3) Distinguish the architectural and artistic features of different civilizations and periods 4) Can use critical thinking skills when describing, analysing, interpreting and judging the artwork 5) Explain how a work of art evokes feelings, emotions, and aesthetic response 6) Interpret the influence of social and cultural beliefs in artwork. |

| 3) He/She has the basic knowledge, skills and equipment suitable to the contemporary health technician approach, to be able to carry out communication with the patient, to take responsibility and to develop solutions when faced with an unforeseen situation related to the field. | |||||||||||||||
| 4) Without giving any harm to patients,he/she gives importance to hygiene asepsis-antisepsis, sterilization, contamination and infection with the basic knowledge about the health care work environment. | |||||||||||||||

| 6) He/She knows the basic structure and functions of human body and biochemical mechanisms and uses them in their professional studies. | |||||||||||||||
