Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The objective of this course is to learn neural and psychological mechanisms of neuroaesthetics and analyze current artworks neuroaesthetically.
Course Content: Introduction to neuroaesthetics: definition and history, the brain and beauty, cognitive illusions, psychological disorders and artistic creativity, the neural mechanism of neuroaesthetic perception, 8 laws of Ramachandran, body language, the art and neuroaesthetics, the art of seeing, the culture and beauty, emotions and neuroaesthetics, current approaches in neuroaesthetics.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Defines the term neuroaesthetics,
2) Explain the relationship between the brain and beauty,
3) Have an understanding about cognitive illusions,
4) Define the relationship between psychological disorders and artistic creativity,
5) Learn the neural mechanism of aesthetics perception,
6) Learn the eight law of Ramachandran,
7) Have an understanding about body language,
8) Comprehend the role and importance of neuroaesthetics in art,
9) Analyze current artworks neuroaesthetically.

1) Has the knowledge and knowledge to follow the resources related to the profession and has the ability to communicate properly in oral and written form.

11) In the control of the pharmacist or the responsible manager, he has the ability to make necessary directions to patients and their relatives about drug use.
12) Have the discipline necessary for team work, high communication skills, technical and application knowledge.
13) It conducts a given task independently by using its basic knowledge. When it encounters an unpredictable situation, it takes responsibility and develops solutions. Collaborates with other fields related to the field.
14) As a Pharmacy Technician, it follows the instructions related to pharmaceuticals, pharmaceuticals, medical products, medical products and dermocosmetics.
