Course Objectives: | The aim of the course is to enable students to approach patients and their relatives by recognizing the psychological processes experienced by patients. |
Course Content: | Providing empathy by understanding patient psychology, transferring the necessary information for proper communication with patients / patients' relatives, approach to pediatric patients, approach to infection patients, approach to cancer patients, approach to psychiatric patients, psychological first aid in trauma and crisis situations |

1) • explains the relationship related to health and disease 2) • Uses correct contact information with patient relatives. 3) • Takes the right approach with patients according to the disease types. 4) • List different approach models to pediatric patients. 5) • Explain the psychology of patients with infectious diseases. 6) • Remember the psychology of cancer patients and use them in their approach to the patient. |
