Course Objectives: | In this course, the student will present spatial compositions in the context of number-form, number-color, and number-light relations. |
Course Content: | The course will begin with historical information on the use of digital expressions in art and design, and will focus its agenda on the power of digital technologies to transform art and design activities. Students are expected to design interior spaces with function and meaning, created with the analog-digital method. Autodesk 3ds Max and Chaos Corona Renderer programs will be used together in the process. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Gaining new perspectives on computer aided digital design in the context of number-form, number-color, number-light relations 2) Creating visual compositions with color, material, light inputs with a number-based approach are the outputs of the course 3) Learning experimental and digital processes on form research 4) Understanding shape grammars and transferring them to architectural design |
