Course Objectives: | The objective is to provide fundamental information on the historical process that furniture design has undergone, the types of furniture that have emerged depending on various architecture and art movements, and comparisons in an academic context. |
Course Content: | The evolution of furniture from ancient times to the present day is examined in a chronological order, taking into account the development of society, styles, and major designers and producers. The transformations of furniture, styles, and prominent masters throughout history are discussed in order to understand how they have arrived at the present day. |
