Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It is aimed that students acquire the basic principles and treatment approaches of lymphedema treatment.
Course Content: In this course, lymphedema physiotherapy, anatomical and physiological concepts of lymphedema, manual techniques in lymph drainage and decongestive exercises are explained.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students learn Anatomy, physiology and Pathophysiology of the lymphatic system.
2) They can explain general edema and lymphedema.
3) They know primary and secondary lymphedema.
4) They learn the treatment of Complete Excretion in lymphedema.
5) They know individual drainage techniques and decongestive exercise treatments.
