Course Objectives: | It aims to enable students to be informed about basic psychological concepts and to establish their relationship with their own professional fields. |
Course Content: | This course focuses on the basic concepts of psychology. It includes the following subheadings; It gives the opportunity to know the history of psychology and other fields related to psychology. It covers the positioning of psychology as a scientific discipline, how behavioral and mental processes are handled with a historical perspective, and with which methods they are examined. It includes topics such as human behavior and social environment, developmental stages (child, youth, adult, elder psychology) and personality development. |
