| Course Objectives: | This course aims to provide students with: • Knowledge of localization • Discussion of localization in translation • Practice in equivalent translations of the same text • Practice in localizing different source texts and tasks. • Discussion of and acquaintance with the published research work on localization in the field. |
| Course Content: | This course covers issues in the theoretical background of the concept of localization in the field and the practice of localization of the texts to be translated. It covers different areas where localization plays an important role and a range of scientific research work on localization. |
