Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It aims to comprehend the basic theories of the philosophy of being through the concepts of object, event, existence, sameness, the problem of universals, spatio-temporal continuity and change.
Course Content: “What is existence?”, “What is the condition of existence?”, “What are the types of existence?” The concepts of object, event, existence, sameness, universals, spatio-temporal continuity and change, which are the subject of ontology, will be examined.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns the problem and principles of existence.
2) Makes in-depth inquiries about the problem of existence.
3) Gains knowledge of different definitions of existence.
