Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This course aims to discuss the main problems of modern philosophy through specific texts.
Course Content: A close reading of the texts by Hegel, Marx, Kierkegaard and Nietzsche will be made.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns about the fundamental problems of modern philosophy.
2) Gains knowledge on modern philosophy by comparatively examining the main theories.
3) Gains knowledge about the place of modern philosophy in the history of philosophy.
