Course Objectives: | • To acquaint and train students with essential skills in public speaking. • To inform students about different types of public speaking • To enable students to organize and present their oral products in an efficient way. • To increase their general spoken discourse performance and confidence in speaking in public. |
Course Content: | • An introduction to the efficient public speaking skills • Practice at analysing and giving public speeches. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Ability to explain the technical and stylistic aspects of public speaking 2) Ability to prepare and present speeches with confidence, fluency, coherence, and accuracy 3) Ability to analyse and criticise different types of speeches delivered. |
