Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to teach the basic concepts and subjects in the field of community psychology. Students who successfully complete this course will have knowledge about community mental health and will be able to define the effects of social elements on individuals' psychological well-being and behavior.
Course Content: Within the scope of the course, prevention and intervention methods at the societal level will be discussed. Course subject will include how to work with in need groups. When considered through the ecological model, society has an important place on human behavior. Changes in the field of society will cause changes in the individual along with the programs. For this reason, it is important to know the methods of social psychological intervention.
