Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide students the basic concepts and theories of psychology, the methods of measurement and assessment and the ethics codes.
Course Content: Main theoretical and applied areas of Psychology, main research methods, ethical rules, history of psychology, sensation and perception, learning, consciousness, memory, development, social psychology, personality, psychological disorders and treatments.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) At the end of this course, students know what motivation is and the basic concepts related to motivation.
2) Knows what stress is. Recognizes methods of coping with stress.
3) Knows the importance of motivation in health.
4) At the end of this course, students recognize the psychological needs of human beings. Knows the differences between these needs. Learns the effects of impulses and needs on human behavior.
5) Learns the relationship of motivation with psychological, physiological and environmental resources.
6) Knows the importance of the environment in raising motivation and can do the necessary work in this direction in practice.
