Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: 1. Learning the anatomical, physiological and psychological effects of the edentulism
2. Learning the clinical and laboratory principles, procedures and workflows of complete dentures
3. Learning the basis of the occlusal concepts in complete dentures

Course Content: 1. Learning the clinical, anatomical, physiological and psychological effects of missing teeth
2. Learning both the clinical workflow from diagnosis to postoperative care and laboratory workflow from model preparation to finishing&polishing in complete dentures

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Has knowledge about the anatomical, clinical, physiological and psychological effects of the missing teeth and edentulism
2) Comprehends the clinical and laboratory procedures and workflows of complete dentures
3) Distinguishes basically the occlusal concepts in complete dentures and fixed partial prosthesis
