Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives:
The aim of this course is to equip students with the basic grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills necessary to use Italian in simple, everyday situations. By the end of the course, students will be able to introduce themselves, ask and answer basic questions, and understand and use common expressions to carry out basic communicative tasks.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Introduce themselves and others using basic personal information (e.g., name, age, nationality, profession).
2) Understand and use common everyday expressions related to greetings, shopping, and ordering food and drinks.
3) Ask and answer simple questions in familiar contexts such as family, routines, and locations.
4) Use basic grammar structures (e.g., present tense of regular and common irregular verbs, articles, and prepositions) to form simple sentences.
