Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: In this course, it is aimed to gain the knowledge and skills of analyzing and synthesizing evidence-based nursing practices in order to address women's health with a holistic view, to identify problem areas and to produce solutions for problems.
Course Content: Within the scope of this course, it includes information about daily nursing approaches in risky situations in pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period that affect women's health.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to list current nursing approaches for risky situations encountered during pregnancy
2) To be able to develop a nursing plan suitable for risky situations to be encountered during labor
3) To be able to explain nursing care in an individualized and holistic approach to women who are followed up on pregnancy and birth.
4) To be able to create a training plan for women in the postpartum period
5) Reflecting nursing approaches to care in line with up-to-date information
