Course Objectives: | This course aims to enable students to analyze production/service processes by working as an intern for a certain period in a company operating in the production or service sector, thereby increasing their competence in the field of industrial engineering. |
Course Content: | Notifying the rules about the internship, evaluating and approving the internship applications, receiving the internship documents; evaluation of internship reports, evaluation of internship |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) The ability to analyze a production/service process using various methods such as work measurement techniques and data analysis. 2) Analyze the relations between different departments such as production, sales, quality control, accounting in a production/service company and their contributions to the related processes. 3) Must be able to write a technical report describing the key processes in a firm and an assessment of them in terms of industrial engineering. 4) Use the theoretical knowledge acquired in the field of industrial engineering in determining the malfunctions in production / service processes |
