Course Objectives: | I. It is aimed that students become aware of the social and internal communication styles, develop their communication skills socially and professionally, and learn communication skills. II. It aims to introduce social sciences such as Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology and to realize the intersection points of human society. III. It is aimed to know the concepts such as abnormality and normality, mental health, deviance and adaptation, cultural differences, and the concepts of self, identity and personality. IV. Empathic communication, speaking in interpersonal communication; It aims to increase skills such as effective listening and understanding skills, I and you messages, non-verbal behavior, body language. |
Course Content: | In interpersonal relations, interpersonal communication theories are supported by various readings, images such as movies and interviews with expert guests in order to understand the communication process by revealing the necessity of communication, to understand the importance of knowing yourself and to indicate its meaning in recognizing the society. |
The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Defines the communication and knows the communication process and elements. 2) Knows communication barriers and effective communication. 3) Improves effective communication and listening skills. 4) Learns the importance of communication and therapeutic communication in their field. 5) Gains knowledge of the studies in the field of communication. |
