Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: A change can be a project, initiative or solution being introduced in the organization to improve the way work gets done, solve a problem, or take advantage of an opportunity. At the same time, risk can include an unexperienced, unexplained and complex situation. The aim of the course is to build knowledge and skills for change management, the application of a structured set of processes and tools to guide people through change to achieve a desired outcome.
Course Content: The core of organizational change management is a thorough knowledge of how to successfully introduce change to people. In this course, students will learn how to clearly define roles and responsibilities and handle resistance to change, to explore the impact of organizational change management. They will gain the knowledge to help people transition through change and the key activities for effective organizational change management.

1) Defines contemporary developments, approaches and basic concepts in the field of Political Science and Public Administration at national and international level.
2) To have knowledge about the main theoretical debates in the field of Political Science and Public Administration.
3) Relates the interaction of Political Science and Public Administration with other social sciences (philosophy, history, sociology, law, economics, business administration).
4) Examines the political and social processes, problems and the causes of these problems in Turkey and in the world, evaluates them in an interdisciplinary dimension and with a critical perspective.
5) To be able to conduct research in the field of Political Science by using common methods and respecting ethical values.
6) To be able to design and lead research and scientific texts on field-specific topics on their own or in team work.
7) To be able to express his/her opinions, thoughts and suggestions for solutions in written and verbally in the field of Political Science and Public Administration.
